Ingredients
Koorka -1 cup
Green chili -1
Curry Leaves -Handfull
Oil -1 Tablespoon
Coconut Scrapings -1/2 Cup
Water -1/4 cup
Salt -as needed
I searched the English word for koorka and in some site I found out that it is also called as Chinese potatoes. Peel the skin of Koorka and cut them into small pieces. Split the green chilies. In a hot pan add oil and pop in the mustard seeds. Then add the koorka, green chili, salt and also water. Close the lid and keep it for about 7 minutes. After 7 minutes if there is water even after koorka is cooked , cook them without closing the lid till all the water is drained off. When the water is drained off add the curry leaves and also the coconut scrappings
