- Chicken -1 kg
- Shallots -10 nos
- Ginger -2 inch
- Garlic -8 nos
- Green Chilly -4
- Pepper -2 Tablespoon
- Cinnamon -2 sticks
- Cloves -4
- Turmeric Powder -1 Teaspoon
- Salt -As needed
- Onion -3 Big
- Tomato -1 Big
- Oil -3 Tablespoon
Cut the chicken into small pieces and clean them well.Grind shallots,ginger,garlic and green chilly into fine paste. Crush pepper,cinnamon and cloves.Marinate the chicken with paste and powder.Keep the chicken for about 1 hour.Saute the chopped onions,when the color changes slightly add tomatoes again saute them for a while.Add 1 table spoon of pepper powder and salt into this.Add this sauted onion and chicken into a pressure cooker and mix it well.Don't add too much water(once i added too much water and the curry was a utter flop).Keep it high flame.Turn the gas off when you hear one whistle.Some of the people fry the chicken,even if you don't there is no problem.If you want it more spicy add pepper powder more.Eat this with whatever you want.Add curry leaves while sauteing the onion.
Garnish with coriander leaves
