Ingredients
1.Ghee -4 tablespoon
2.Cardamom -4 pods
3.Cinnamon -4 stick
4.Cloves -4 pods
5.Cashew Nut -5-6
6.Raisin -5-6
7.Basmathi Rice -2 cups
8.Water -4 cups
9.Carrot -1
10.Green peas -250g
11.Capsicum -1
12.Soy Sauce -1 table spoon
13.Salt -needed
14.Garam Masala -Pinch
15.Pepper Powder-pinch
16.Lemon -1
17.Onion -1
Soak the rice in water for about half an hour.
Add 2 tablesppons of ghee into pan Put the spices that is cardamom,cinnamom and cloves.
Now add washed and drained rice into the ghee with spice.
Stir it for a five minutes and then add the water.[if you are taking 3 cups of rice then
double the cups for water]
Squeeze the lemon and add the salt as needed.Close the lid.
Chop the onion into really thin pieces also slice carrot and capsicum into small pieces.
Pour the remaining ghee into another pan and add cashew and raisins.
The raisins will blow up(I really love eating that.My mom used to hide it from me and my brother.)
Then add chopped vegetables.Saute it for a while in low flame.
close this with another lid.
After 5 minutes do not forget to check the rice,Just check whether it is done.
When it is done ,add the sauted vegetables into it and keep it for 2-3 minutes in low flame.
after turning off the gas add soy sauce, garam masala and pepper powder and mix it well.
Yes you have made your vegetable fried rice
You can also make scrambled eggs and chicken also(boneless) into the vegetables and add to this.
