Chicken in Coconut milk


Ingrediants
1.      Chicken                               -1kg
2.      Onion                                  -1 Big
3.      Ginger                                 -1’ inch Piece
4.      Garlic                                   -5
5.      Chili Powder                       -1 Tablespoon
6.      Turmeric  Powder               -1 Teaspoon
7.      1 st Coconut Milk               -1 Cup
8.      2nd Coconut Milk               -1 Cup
9.      Oil                                       -2 Tablespoon
10.   Salt                                     -as needed

First cut the chicken into small pieces and clean it. Heat the oil in a pan. Meanwhile chop onion, ginger,  garlic. Sauté it. When the onions become translucent Add the chili and turmeric powder and also salt. Sauté it for a while ,do this in a low flame, because there is a chance of burning the chili powder. After that add chicken and also 2nd coconut milk, close the lid. I will tell you in the last section how to make first and second coconut milk. When the chicken is done add the first coconut milk and let it boil for a 5 minutes without closing the lid. When the gravy becomes thick turn off the gas. Eat it with chapatti  or with anything you want.
To make 2nd coconut milk first you have to prepare first coconut milk. While making first coconut milk squeeze the shredded coconut, the liquid we get by doing this is first coconut milk. Don’t throw the squeezed coconut shreds. To make the 2nd coconut milk put the squeezed coconut shreds into a jar and also add same water and hit the pulse button in your grinder for two times. Then squeeze then you will get the 2nd milk.You can repeat this to get 3rd milk also which is used in paripu payasam (recipe will be added later)
